Energy of The Gods - High Stim Pre Workout

Energy of the Gods contains 4 different fast and long acting stimulants that work synergistically to allow for a smooth boost of energy with no crash! 

325mg of Caffeine Anhydrous, 200mg of Juglans Regia (Natural DMHA) and 40mg of Theacrine.

Caffeine Anhydrous is a Central Nervous System (CNS) Stimulant that blocks Adenosine Receptors leading to increased feel good hormone release (such as dopamine), reduction/ blocking of fatigue signals in the brain and increase mental alertness and performance. 

Juglans Regia, scientifically known as 2-amino-5-methylheptane is a naturally occurring source of DMHA (Octodrine), it has many health properties however in this case we use it because of its psychoactive CNS stimulant properties. Juglans Regia is used to enhance levels of energy, mental alertness and pain threshold. 

Theacrine is structurally similar to caffeine and acts as a CNS stimulant and increases cognitive function, it is slower acting compared to caffeine. Anecdotally, Theacrine has a lower tolerance build up compared to Caffeine and will continue to exert its effects for longer. 

Bitter Orange Extract (Citrus Aurantium Extract) contains synepherine which is a CNS stimulant similar to caffeine, Bitter Orange Extract also boosts metabolism by increasing resting metabolic rate, suppresses appetite and increases thermogenesis.  

Generally a "crash" after using a stimulant based product is a common experience for some users. This crash is often characterised by symptoms of fatigue, irritability and lack of focus or concentration. Alpha GPC (L-Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine) is a compound that is naturally found within the brain. It is a source of choline, which is a precursor to acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that plays a crucial role in many brain functions including memory and muscle control. Supplementation of Alpha GPC increases levels of Acetylcholine in the brain which has shown to enhance athletic and cognitive performance through increase mind and muscle connection. 

L-Tyrosine is a precursor to several key neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin and epinephrine. These neurotransmitters are crucial for regulating mood, cognition and the body's response to stress. Intense exercise has been proven to decrease these important neurotransmitters (especially dopamine) and by supplementing L-Tyrosine the dopaminergic system is enhanced. This is due to the increase in raw material required to synthesis dopamine leading to decrease in fatigue and increase in cognitive function.

L-citrulline Malate is a compound where the amino acid L-citrulline is combined with malate, a compound that is heavily involved in the bodies Citric Acid Cycle (Krebs Cycle)/ Energy Production. 

After ingestion L-citrulline is converted into an amino acid called l-arginine which in the body is a precursor to nitric oxide, a molecule that helps dilate or widen blood vessels. By increasing nitric oxide levels, blood flow is enhanced and what is referred to a 'pump' is increased. 

Agmatine Sulfate is produced in the body from L-arginine and influences nitric oxide production similarly to L-citrulline however it also inhibits Arginase which breaks down L-arginine, by inhibiting Arginase more L-arginine is readily available to be converted to nitric oxide, enhancing blood flow even further. 

L-arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is two parts L-arginine and one part Alpha Ketoglutarate. Alpha Ketoglutarate helps the body produce energy more efficiently as it plays a key role in the Citric Acid Cycle (Krebs Cycle) and is a precursor to L-arginine. 

L-norvaline is not produced by the human body and is referred to as a non-essential amino acid. It has been extensively studies in the role of supporting nitric oxide production in the body and inhibiting Arginase.  

Energy of the Gods contains Beta Alanine which has been proven to increase strength and endurance. It is a non essential amino acid that is naturally produced within the body, Beta Alanine effectively increases Carnosine concentrations within the muscle. Carnosine is a molecule that buffers against accumulation of hydrogen ions during high-intensity training. Accumulation of these ions is referred to as lactic acid, which presents as a burning sensation within the muscle. By buffering Lactic Acid training volume, capacity and duration is increased. 

Commonly with most pre workouts, over time you will build a tolerance to stimulants, this leads to the effects being 'dampened'. Over time repeated stimulant use increases the levels of adrenaline within the body which leads to increased cortisol levels, subsequently causing Receptor Desensitisation, Neurotransmitter Depletion and Adrenal Insufficiency/ Fatigue. However, by utilising Nootropics, fast and long lasting stimulants you wont build up a stimulant tolerance as fast compared to a pre workout that does not. We also recommend after every tub of Energy of the Gods is completed you take a break for 2-3 weeks or switch to Pump of the Gods.
